Dried MF With Drier Sheet - Rewash?

My wife washed and dried an outfit of our daughters, and left the drier sheet in. I didnt see it and dried the MF towels and washing mitts with the sheet in there.

    Should I rewash?

It sounds like it was used in the prior load so the chemicals on the sheet have already been activated and dispersed. I would suspect that you should be fine but you could wash them again just to be safe.

Test one and see if any harm came to them.

I think the main symptom would be lack of absorbency. As BobbyG noted, I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's done. If you're really worried just rewash them...if it was me I would just use them as-is.

I was told that white vinegar as a rinse "MAY" help remove the fabric softner if any remained from the dryer sheet. I usually use white vinegar with mine.

If the MR towels comes out of the dryer with a static charge, you will know if they are still ok.

    Good luck.
