Need help quick...before the 24 hour sale is over - Look please!!

Hey,
Glad you came in to read my post

I just got the email about the great deal on the WG Fuzion wax. However yesterday I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Pinnacle Souveran BOGO. I have a white Mustang and will also be doing the wifey's car from time to time. So far I have Megs 105 & 205 w/ WG DGS 3.0 & Detail Sprtiz. I was figuring the Souveran would be a good finisher...but now with WG listed at $99 I'm contemplating getting that as well if it would be better on my white car. HELP!!! Should I spend the extra $100 now, or wait until next year and pick up the WG when it goes on sale again(hopefully another xmas special). Curse you AG for your great sales!!! Any help would be appreciated...

I ONLY HAVE 24 HOURS TO DECIDE, HELP!!!!

Stick with the Souveran. I got it when they had it BOGO a few months ago and I couldn't be more please. The shine makes the paint look wet and adds a little depth to it. Fuzion (from what I heard) is a wax with great shine but with the some durability of a sealant. If durability is what your looking for, get some Collinite 845 and top it off with 2 coats of Souveran. It would probably be a lot better than the Fuzion and cheaper too. Good luck!

I haven't detailed my first car yet...the closest I got was clay baring my deck lid and waxing with spray wax prior to a spoiler install. I'm gathering all of the products I'll need for my first undertaking. So juding from what you said I should use the Megs combo I have 105 & 205, top it off with the WG DGPS 3.0, top it off with Collinite 845...then finally use the Souveran? I need durability because until I get a 2nd car for commuting my Mustang sees a 140mile(roundtrip) commute everytime I go into the office. I started keeping it in my garage as often as possible, but durability is still a sticking point for me. How often should I wax with the Souveran? The Ag page says it should last 2-3 months. Thanks for the response!!

Winter is here. Everyone already started protecting their car with some type of sealant. And you should jump the bandwagon. With the combo you suggested, you should be fine with just WG DGPS 3.0 and 2 coats of collinite 845 as your LSP. That will have maximum durability till end of Spring. Also adding a sealant on top of a sealant would compromise the top layer and cause problems of adhesion. Remember, seal then wax.

If you want you can use WG DGPS 3.0 then 2 coats of Souveran and that make the car look shine. But then again, its all about prep not the wax.

Personally I would just go straight Collinite.

Re: Need help quick...before the 24 hour sale is over - Look please!!

So judging from responses I should just use Collinite 845 and not even bother with 845? Should I try to detail before winter really gets here? I was trying to wait until I picked up a DA to actually open all of the products I have, but I guess I could wash, dry, clay it and top off with the WG DGPS 3.0 then Collinite 845(after I order it this weekend lol). I should just save the Souveran for summer use and not even bother with the Fuzion.

Thanks for setting me straight about the Fuzion, I think I'll pass on that until next year or after I run out of the Souveran. In the mean time it looks like I need to pick up some of that Collinite 845 and the LIQUID Souveran since the consensus is it looks the best on white anyways. Just so I have it right...wash, dry, clay, WG DGPS, collonite 845 & liquid spray Souveran....this should get me through the Winter, correct? Any other suggestions?

Fuzion on white is very wet looking ... Collonite with offer better durability but not as nice in looks dept IMO.

White is fun to try and make shine... you will be happy with the Souveran, I have to say one of my favorite on white is Liquid Souveran.

Another vote for Liquid Souveran on white. Just ask OCDetails about this one. He used to post some impressive reflection shots on white paint after applying Liquid Souveran.
