Operation Comfort is a support organization for wounded veterans. Mike and Max had the pleasure of meeting the guys participating in Operation Comfort?s Automotivation program last fall while filming for the SPEED channel. We?re excited to bring in three individuals from Operation Comfort to join us for Detail Fest weekend!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world?s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services.

Autogeek.net has teamed up with Masters TV to launch a new television series in 2011 called What’s In The Garage? The show will take host Mike Phillips, our very own Director of Training and dedicated car guy, into the garages of people all over the country to see their automotive treasures.

The show will air on the FOX Sports Network at 11:30 on Sundays for 13 weeks during the second quarter of 2011. We’ll let you know the exact dates and times when it’s close to air time!

A little info about Matt Steele so you can see just how great of a colaboration this will be! Matt Steele is a co-host of TRUCK U along with Bruno Massel.

Matt Steele has been hosting motorsports events for the last 12 years?everything from local mud-bog races to Monster Jam events in front of sold out stadiums of 70,000 fans. In 2004, Matt Steele made the move to television as the Pit Reporter for SPEED’s Monster Jam. Over the years, Matt has worked closely with various production crews for live events and television, and released a full-length music CD in 2005.

Matt is also the host of the Trucks Gone Wild! Traveling the world to some of the great mud fest events!

Motorhead Garage hosts Sam Memmolo and Dave Bowman.

July 7, 2010 – Bristol, TN Masters Entertainment Group, Inc. (MEG) announced today, the signing of AUTOGEEK, of Stuart, FL as “Presents Sponsor” of their newest television series Motorhead Garage featuring Sam Memmolo, and Dave Bowman, formerly of Shadetree Mechanic and Two Guys Garage.

The series will debut on Fox Sports Network (FSN) National Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 11:30A nationwide. It will repeat on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 4:30P, and will run for twelve (12) consecutive weeks, at those time slots, in third quarter 2010. The series will then return to FSN in January of 2011 for an additional twenty-six (26) weeks.

Autogeek’s Director of Training Mike Phillips will appear on the debut episode of Motorhead Garage this Sunday at 11:30 am EST on Fox Sports Network. Check your local listings.

Meghan and Jason visited Griot’s Garage’s Plainfeld, Indiana distribution center on June 22, 2010 to take a tour of their facility and gain a better understanding of their operation. They met with Wholesale Sales Representative Rob Wood, Warehouse Manager Arnie Rojas, and Bottling Manager Alan Bradford. The group discussed new products ideas and future expansion of the Griot’s Garage line, as well as ways to build the relationship with Autogeek to better serve both our customers and theirs. Highlights of the tour included the giant employee break room, complete with racing-inspired furniture and tool box coffee tables!

Griot’s Garage has been catering to auto enthusiasts since 1990 with their popular catalog. The first Griot’s Garage Retail Store and Car Care School opened up in Tacoma, Washington earlier this month. Griot’s Garage made its Autogeek debut in May 2009 and representatives, including Rob Wood, exhibited at Autogeek’s 5th Annual Detail Fest in March 2010.

SEMA 2010 is scheduled for November 2-5, 2010 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
